Japanese Octagon Style Gazebo Kit Kyoto was pre-assembled with pre-shingled roof panels. It was easy to assemble using nuts and bolts included in the kit with 2 to 3 people typically in 2 to 3 days. It's features included the integrated Japanese Desigh, high quality western red cedar, the unique skylight rooftop, and the comfortable interchangeable bench. Material grades: The kits came in Muji and Kobushi grades. Muji: Premium, air-dried clear grades of western red cedar. Because of its superior quality and appearance, Muji grade presents a more prestigious look as well as enhances the attractiveness of traditional Japanese style. Kobushi: High quality air-dried knotty grade of western red cedar. Many people prefer the look of knotty cedar, as it lends the Gazebo "character". Roof: Lower Roof: Cedar Shingle Upper Roof: Cedar Shingle Cupola or Skylight Rooftop Cedar Shingle Cupola: Featuring selected air-dried Western Red Cedar shingles that are long lasting and practically maintenance-free over their life. The smooth sawn, architecturally uniform cedar shingles bring a natural and tailored appearance to your gazebo. Skylight Rooftop: Made from acrylic glass. Resistant to weather, cracking and aging. The skylight rooptop adds a modern look to the traditional Japanese style of the gazebo and allows natural light to enter while absorbing harmful UV rays. Cedar Shingle Cupola Skylight Cupola Bench: Elegant: 1 x 2 planks of clear grade Western Red Cedar blended well with the existing design. Systematic: Easily interchangeable with lower railings and allowed to install upto 7 genches per gazebo. Sturdy: Connected with the existing posts and supported by 2 x 4s for sturdiness. Comfortable: The back is 11 degrees' lean and covered by the exisiting gazebo eaves for good protection from the elements. Spacious: The bench was set back outside by 9" to ensure comfortable floor space inside the gazebo. |
